This list is designed to stand as a lasting memorial for those who served with the American Ambulance Great Britain during the Second World War. I don’t know of any original personnel records having survived and unless they show up one day this page will be the largest collection of information on those who served. The below list is based on the list of garages open in January 1945, there may be more that I don’t know about and I shall add them if I discover any more! This list is complied with information that I have found out but also with that given to me by relatives of those who served in the American Ambulance. If you know of someone who served please get in touch so I can add their details to this list. It is split into those stations that were run directly by the American Ambulance and those run by the Mechanised Transport Corps on behalf of the American Ambulance. Please scroll down the list to see all the names by station, I hope to update it regularly.
