Today marks 80 years since VE Day. This day was marked by celebrations up and down the country, ones we know that many members of the American Ambulance were involved in.
While today marked celebration, the organisations work was far from over. They continued to work tirelessly to help with repatriating injured servicemen, the movement of evacuees as well as continuing dealing with casualties returned home from the Pacific theatre.
