Driver Bacon’s scrapbook reads “Sample of a chit made out on each journey” This “Drivers’ Daily Log” shows that they worked a roughly 12 hour day, covering 250 miles. This document is something that would have been completed each day to keep a log of what each vehicle and staff were doing to support the overall statistics of the American Ambulance.
